The images focus on quiet moments of everyday life. Small still-life situations, street details, and ordinary scenes that often go unnoticed.
I chose to translate these photographs into a hand-held, printed Zine to create a physical connection to the experience of being there. Holding and flipping through the pages becomes a way of returning to those moments. The tactile format allows the images to exist not only as documentation, but as a personal archive. Something that can be revisited, remembered, and felt again over time.

The visual identity features a playful mix of bold typography, warm colors, and whimsical doodles of wine glasses, bottles, and sunglasses.
Along with the branded matches, and wine pairing menu, Het Oranje embodies the joy of natural winemaking and the carefree spirit of a perfect sunny day.

Working in black and white allowed me to experiment with natural sunlight and strong shadows, emphasising contrast, texture, and form.
The images document local mosque attenders and passersby in natural, unplanned moments. They catch gestures, pauses, and everyday activities as they unfold. Instead of staging scenes, this work pays attention to the daily flow and small interactions, showing how light, architecture, and humans come together in normal, everyday life.

Filmed through an observational lens, the work captures him at work, recording both image and sound as he crafts, interacts with customers, and moves through his surroundings.
The project relies on organic audio from the space itself, including conversations, tools, and passing footsteps, to build an authentic sense of his shop. By focusing on process, repetition, and quiet interactions, the film reflects everyday labour and human connection as they naturally unfold over time.
I wanted to create a piece that captures how locals in Istanbul work and how much kindness exists within everyday interactions, revealing talent that can often be hidden in small, overlooked passages. Spending hours with Ahmet and following him through his day became my favourite experience, allowing me to quietly observe his craft, routines, and the warmth of his connections with the people around him.

The film portrays local mosque attenders in calm, unposed moments, letting gestures, routines, and transitions appear naturally. By focusing on subtle movements and the passage of time, the project illustrates daily life as it unfolds, examining how time, presence, and surroundings connect in ordinary moments.
It includes some of my favourite pieces, showing different stages of my process and how ideas take shape on paper.
